L'Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science Awards 2017

Two physicists, including one from Asia Pacific, were November 1, 2016 chosen for the 2017 L'Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science Awards. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on March 23, 2017, in Paris.
The winners include Australian quantum physicist Michelle Simmons, Chilean astrophysicist Maria Teresa Ruiz, Lebanese analytical chemist Niveen Khashab, British materials science researcher Nicola Spaldin and American material chemistry expert Zhenan Bao.
